Sunshine Coast TAFE students have entered the Southern Cross Packaging Design Awards for 2013. Here is just a few examples of some of the packaging designs that the students entered.
The awards are a national competition open to all universities, private colleges and tafe institutions. The awards usually have around 500 to 600 entries from students all over Australia.
The design briefs that are given to students are created by industry and judged by packaging professionals. The competition allows students to gain real life experiences in the packaging world.
Visit our awards page to see how our past students have gone in the competition. For example in 2010 we won two gold medals and one silver, in 2012 we won one gold, one silver, three bronze and two highly commended.
